Ancient Egyptian bracelet from Faiyum dated 332 – 30 BC

What appears to be a brass bracelet, made fom a cylindrical rod of metal which has been wound into a circle, in such a way that both ends overlap. The ends are decorated with incised decoration. One end has been formed into the head of a snake, by two bands of incised lines, five then six. The bands only cover half of the circumference of the rod. The other end has been shaped like the tip of a snake’s tail, preceeded by the same incised decoration.
