Ancient Egyptian shabti dated 1550 – 1069 BC

Wooden Shabti figure, with its arms crossed over its chest holding two hoes. The arms and hoes are drawn in red on a yellow background. The hoes are partially drawn over the back of the object. A bag is drawn on the back, red on a yellow background. The wig, features and hieroglyphs are in black. The band of black text down the front of the object is on a yellow background and bordered with red. The rest of the shabti is natural wood. The only modelling is of the face and the general shape.
