Ancient Egyptian shabti dated 664 – 332 BC

Shabti figure of blue green faience, with arms crossed over chest holding a hoe and mattock. All decoration incised, bag on left shoulder, facial features, text. Incised column of text down front is faint. Back pillar and plinth. Back of head is cracked. Paper label covers whole of plinth, reads ‘from tomb, Egypt, about 280BC.’
