Ancient Egyptian cotton fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated 200 BC – AD 300

Two fragments of layered cotton, stained and brittle. Both fragments have seams.
First : C; S/S; 2 ; 11/7prs ; u ; 2 ; 17×15, 8x 40, sp, w even, both pieces typical M embr, from Apron, first ch.st. circles with rays se continuous thread, bl & double ; at end ?bud & spray patts, disint. other piece part of double lines. Burnt patch; end piece added. Cf. Gebbel Adda

Second ; C;S/S; 2 ; 10-11/8prs ; u ; 2 ; 19×22, double or pat 38x 19, ragged ; both could belong to 76.86
