Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated 30 BC – AD 395

One of thirteen wool fragments. A long fragment with a square piece coming from the middle and a rectangular piece coming from one end. This has three purple stripes at the end and there is a purple stripe down the length. One long edge is sewn.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
