Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated 30 BC – AD 395

A fragment of brown wool, roughly triangular in shape, with a purple L shape in the middle. The edges are sewn with natural colour thread.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
