Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated 30 BC – AD 395

A fragment of natural wool with a thick purple blue stripe near one end. There is a narrow strip coming from the other end which has a blue stripe.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
