Ancient Egyptian cotton fragmen from Qasr Ibrim dated 30 BC – AD 395

Three fragments of cotton with a half basket weave and soumak border. The largest fragment has the border of four blue triangles and a sewn edge. The smallest has a sewn seam about a third of the way in.

Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
