Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Qasr Ibrim dated AD 550 – 1400 A large fragment of fine tabby cotton. Natural in colour with fine double bands in both warp and weft in light green blue creating a chequered pattern. Plied and knotted fringe along one edge. Part of large collection of textiles from Qasr Ibrim.
