Lantern Slide with black and white photograph showing some Egyptian people in a village. Five children are in the foreground, dressed in traditional Egyptian costume. Their outlines are slightly blurred, due to their movements. In the background there are some terraced houses with two storeys and vaulted ceilings, all built in mudbrick. The outside walls of the houses are whitened and the entrances are large wooden doorways with adjacent windos in ornamental wooden frames. Adults, also dressed in traditional costume, are looking through the windows and doorways. The road is unpaved and uneven. Location .
