Ancient Egyptian Taweret figurine dated 664 – 332 BC

A stone figurine of Taweret as a hippopotamus. Standing with features modelled including the headdress, face and breasts. The hands are resting on its large stomach. Mounted on a wooden block. The back is decorated with diagonal lines coming from the centre. There is a loop for suspensioin on the back.
