Ancient Egyptian oil lamp from Memphis dated 30 BC – AD 395 A pottery oil lamp. The top is concave with a hole in the centre. Around this are two raised lines. Around the circles is a pattern of raised lines. The handle is at the back and has a hole through it. There is a mark an incised on the base.
