Ancient Egyptian ichneumon from Saqqara North Saqqara dated 664 – 332 BC

Standing ichneumon, which is a species of mongoose, on flat plaque base with projecting tenon beneath. Fine and realistic figure with inlay to the eyes silver or gold leaf. Rear end of plaque and tail of animal missing, and have bronze disease.
