One side is rough and unworked, the other side has a polished surface into which has been incised several symbols. Along one edge has been carved a straight line, intersecting with which are, from left to right, with hole on left hand side, two Maltese crosses and a circle divided by a cross. Along the opposite edge is a line, with a single Maltese cross, flanked by a circle divided by a cross on the left side above the hole, and what appears to be a stylised circular tree on the other side.
