Ancient Egyptian figurine from Saqqara dated 700 – 200 BC

Copper alloy Atef crown feather possibly from a statuette of Osiris. From the right hand side of the figure’s head dress. One plume, with a ureaus, sun disc on head, on the outer side, resting on a twisted horn that reaches out across the bottom from the centre of the head dress. Part of a bar that originally connected the plume to the white crown, remains part way up the inside of the plume. Heavily corroded. Indications of a possible break at the base of the horn tip which may suggest there was a pendant connected there originally.
