Ancient Egyptian inlay fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Irregular shaped degraded faience inlay or plaque fragment. Glazed on upper and lower surfaces, and partially on one curved edge. Upper surface has moulded decoration in the form of overlapping circles and radiating lines. Probably part of a fish, and fins. Once coloured. Traces of green now, but mainly black and grey. The black colour could have been an intentional edging, now faded.
