Ancient Egyptian inlay fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Irregular shaped faience fragment, with a convex outer surface, blue glazed with a moulded repeating pattern of concentric circles. Back and sides are unglazed. Decoration is the same as that found on the blue Khepresh Crown or War Bonnet Pharoah. Possibly an inlay fragment or a statuette fragment from such a crown.
