Ancient Egyptian shabti dated 1295 – 1186 BC

Overseer shabti figure of painted pottery, with arms crossed over chest holding two whips or hoes. Kilt with triangular projecting front. Black wig, facial features and edging to whips. Red ground to face, and red whips. Traces of white paint on bottom, possibly modern. Broken off at knees, lower legs missing. Pencil no. ’60’ on back.
