Fragment of a Green faience Bes plaque, moulded on both sides. The front surface preserves the right hand side of his face, and his right shoulder and right arm which is folded over his chest bringing the hand to rest directly under his mouth. The back surface has the back of his right arm, part of his maine, and his waist. The plaque is pierced between the arm and body, and there appears to be the bottom end of a channel cut into the core of the plaque, showing above his head. The edge of the arm is an intact edge of the figure/plaque. The number ’69.’ has been written in black ink on the core.
