Ancient Egyptian scarab from Sesebi Upper Nubia dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Green glazed steatite scarab, perforated through length. Inscribed on base with name of Amun-Re with two flowers on stalks surrounding the name tete-beche. On the back the head, clypeus, plates, prothorax, elytra and nicks at the shoulders shown. Legs raised and slightly undercut.
