Ancient Egyptian scarab from Sesebi Upper Nubia dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Green glazed steatite scarab, partly perforated through length from back. Inscribed on base with name of Horemheb or Horneb. On the back the head, clypeus, plates, prothorax, elytra and nicks at the shoulders shown. Legs raised and slightly undercut.
