Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

A small length of plain woven linen brais with a salmon pink coloured stripe along each side.
There are two linen threads per warp, six warp threads per centimetre. Two linen threads per weft, five weft threads per centimetre. Only single threads woven to form the edge stripe.
