Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

A linen fragment of natural coloured linen threads forming a plain woven ground, every seventh row. A double threaded weft is woven creating a loop on every face thread.
There are 22 warp threads and 16 weft threads per centimetre, including the double thread wefts.
