Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

A small length of plain woven linen brais with a salmon pink coloured stripe along each side.
Plain weave. Thread woven in pairs, except for the coloured stripe. There are 11 warps and 14 wefts per centimetre.
