Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

A card mount with four linen mummy fragments attached. One, marked A, has a long fringe, where a separate thread has been wrapped around the warps to form the fringe. The one marked B is red with a band of natural coloured linen either side. One other fragment is woven with thicker threads and the last one is finely woven, similar to A.
