A fragment of a woven woollen fabric, bound around its edges on three sides. The bindings are worked in thick wool threads forming a block of colour. Colours are red, yellow and green creating a repeating pattern. The main fabric has a raised nap on both sides.
The overcast wool edging is sound. The ends of the threads are finished off on the plain fabric weave. There are eight warp threads per centimetre. The wefts are closely woven.
