Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Hawara or Illahun dated AD 395 – 642

Woven linen braid with a salmon pink dyed linen stripe along each selvedge. All threads are S twisted. There are two threads per warp and weft. There are six warps and wefts per centimetre.
