Ancient Egyptian jar from Matmar dated 2494 – 2345 BC

A pottery jar with an ovaloid body, rounded base and a short neck with a flaring rounded rim. Self slip on the interior and exterior. There are incised lines around the bottom of the shoulder. There is an incised potmark on the shoulder.
