Ancient Egyptian tunic sleeve from Mosteggedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

One of two sleeves from red woollen tunic. Cable edging to wrists with a blue band embroidered with thick white thread. Above this is a tapestry woven band with red centre on which are running animals in dark blue. The borders, separated by yellow lines, are dark blue with floral designs in red. Above and below this band are lines of decorative stitching.
