Ancient Egyptian tunic fragment from Mosteggedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

Portion of loosely woven blue wool tunic. There is a bit of selvedge at one end and cable stitching on one side with narrow and broad stripes of natural colour near the edge. Two tapestry woven bands 25mm wide in red with lozenges worked in yellow and blue. These are separated by groups of yellow spots.
