Ancient Egyptian tunic fragment from Mostagedda dated 30 BC – AD 395

One of four fragments of brown woollen tunic, fine plain weave, wefs well beaten up. There is a tapestry woven band in yellow wool with a floral pattern and border in red wool. At one end of the band is red wool, stopping the pattern. One edge is selvedge.
