Ancient Egyptian sprang headdress from Mostagedda dated AD 395 – 642

Sprang headdress or bag, made of strong natural wool yarns. Decorated with interlacing lines of blue wool. There is a line of decorative stitching below the top edge which is cable-stitched in blue and red wool.
