Ancient Egyptian linen fragment from Mostagedda dated 1773 – 1550 BC

A fragment of linen. A pad of fabric, with many layers, 20 to 30 thick. Hard twisted, single and fine weft yarns. The warp threads are twice the diameter of the wefts, double twisted yarn. The structure is well preserved. Fibre type C, well cleaned.
