Ancient Egyptian linen fragments from Mostagedda dated 1773 – 1550 BC Fragments of linen with a close weave of thick hard twisted yarns, a few doubled. One fragment shows selvedge. Very decomposed with white deposit- salt?- on surface. Fibre type C, fairly well cleaned.
