Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

A fragment of woollen cloth, yellow with a grey and purple stripe on one side. There is darning in dark purple wool at one end of the stripe. There are lines of decorative yellow stitching in wool. There is a pink stripe, about a third of the length long.
