Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Karanis dated 30 BC – AD 395

Wollen, coarse. Warps red, wefts red, yellow, blue, orange and green in varying widths of stripes. Green and orange large stripes alternating with three smaller stripes (red, yellow and blue). Important gap in the orange stripe.
