Ancient Egyptian cornflower inlay fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC A blue and green faience cornflower, thistle shaped, may be an inlay fragment. Seed head detailed with scales, edged with blue, and part of the blue petals can be seen protruding from the top.
