Ancient Egyptian wool fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A border, possibly from a curtain. Tapestry woven in coloured wools. The first band is blue. The second is pink with green and blue hexagons joined together with lines. Then a black band with shapes. The next band is pink with figures, alternating one and then two. They have orange, green and blue dress. Then another black band followed by a balck and natural coloured pattern. The last is green with pink hearts.
There are eight warps per centimetre.
