Ancient Egyptian beads from Badari or Qaw el Kibir dated 1773 – 1550 BC

The Old Index Card lists the beads as: ‘carnelian, jade, and porphyry’.

This seems likely to correspond to a string of cornelian, feldspar and granodiorite beads strung on wire, and without a museum number. Parallels with excavated MK beads in the Ashmolean Museum are clear.
