Ancient Egyptian red pigment fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Piece of red pigment, used for painting and so on. Traces of white on one surface. A hole where a metal spike was pushed inside the piece, and some modern paper adherring to it, both probably from an early twentieth century display technique.
