Ancient Egyptian faience fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Blue faience fragment, glazed on all sides except the broken edge. Oblong section with a hole drilled through the centre, connected to the edge of what appears to be a circular shape, now virtually all broken away. Hole probably for suspension. May be from a decorative or amuletic plaque, or aegis or handle from a vessel.
