Ancient Egyptian tile fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Blue faience oblong tile fragment rounded at one end. Glazed on both upper and lower surfaces, but not over the four sides. Seems to have been intentionally worked to this shape after glazing. Possibly cut from a tile to make an inlay piece of shape.
