Ancient Egyptian faience fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Rectangular piece of blue faience. Glazed on upper surface only, but maybe a flake from a larger piece, once glazed on both surfaces. Modern paper stuck to the back of the piece, probably as part of early twentieth century display technique.
