Ancient Egyptian mud ball from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

A crudely made mud ball, now fragmentary, containing a lock of brown/auburn human hair. Because the ball is now fragmentary, the lock can be seen, it is probable that originally it was contained within the ball.
