Ancient Egyptian bone tool from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

Worked piece of rib bone, smooth on one side, but showing the bone structure on the other. square at one end, and filed to a point at the other. The shaft has two semi circular chips down one edge, which may have been intentional or be due to damage. Possibly a tool used in weaving to push the threads down, or possibly a polisher or a spatula.
