Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A fragment of linen band, tapestry woven, in purple wool. Design of a man and woman with elaborately dressed hair. The woman is carrying something, possibly a bag. The man has a shield at his shoulder. Other designs, probbaly also of people to the top and right of the figures. Border on the left , natural coloured with purple circles.
There are 13 warps per centimetre.
