Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A narrow linen border. Tapestry woven, both edges with turned selvedge. Very finely embroidered in red, green and yellow wool. There are triangular shapes alternating in colour with another plain triangle above them. There are hearts, alternating colour, larger hearts followed by smaller hearts.
It has the appearance of a plaited braid, embroidered on top.
