Ancient Egyptian textile fragment from Oxyrhynchus dated AD 395 – 642

A woollen cloth fragment with a tapestry woven band in red wool. On this ground are a tiger, ram and floral devices worked in yellow, green and undyed flax.
There are 14 warps per centimetre. Finely woven with different thickness of woollen threads.
