Ancient Egyptian impressed plaster fragment from Amarna dated 1550 – 1295 BC

A piece of gypsum plaster, with a ridged impression which looks like bird’s feet. Probably taken from an existing wall decoration. Two holes in the back of the piece are probably from metal pins inserted to facilitate display early in the twentieth century.
