Ancient Egyptian horus amulet from Abydos dated 2055 – 1773 BC

Blue glazed faience horus amulet, degraded on one side. Somewhat stylized representation of horus as a bird, standing with wings stretched from head to floor, gaps between legs and wings. Suspension via two holes in the top of the wings, or through hole which runs longitudinally through the width of the amulet (though the upper part of the wings/head).
